KISS 107 Cincinnati's Joey On The Most Valuable Thing at OCB

Ok, so if you live in the Cincinnati, OH area you've probably heard about Joey taking the helm as co-host of the Jordan and Joey Mornings show on KISS 107 FM.

What you probably had no way of knowing is that Joey is a graduate of the Ohio Center for Broadcasting Cincinnati campus.

Last week, we were fortunate enough to nab Joey up for some one on one time to talk about her time at the Ohio Center for Broadcasting, advice she has for potential broadcasting students, and her new career.

Below is the first of four short advice filled video clips with Joey.  This one sums up what she feels is the most valuable thing she learned at the Ohio Center for Broadcasting.

hey joey: congrats on you working at kiss 107 nice to know that sme from from OCB land a job here in town. i" start back at OCB next month, I already do have prior on air exp. back i early 80's, maybe next year when i graduate we will be working together. good luck I'll be listening to you.

joey or david: would it be possible sometime for a tour of radiostation, i do have prior radi exp. but don't have current demo to give you. will be starting back at OCB in july to put one together. hey Joey: enjoy your show and music that your station plays. I just started at Ohio Center for Broadcasting in the afternoons. Need a hugh favor, I need some internalship hours this week. Would it be poosible to spend some time with you down at the staion sometime. I would like to meet you and go over the euipment used in studios. You get a message Microsoft outlook 2010 that says Excel is not responding Office 2010 key and it gives you one of 3 Office 2010 home choices to click. I clicked try to find out what happened since I didn't save the info I last posted on Microsoft outlook it so I didn't want to close it. Minutes Outlook 2010 tick by and I hit CLOSE it and instead it said it was Office 2010 professional plus "researching why Excel wouldn't respond". Suddenly my Excel will not open. When you CLICK on a Microsoft Office previously saved Excel 2010 Microsoft Office 2010 folder, EXCEL Office 2010 activation opens the document but the words do NOT appear. I went from 2007 Professional to Microsoft Office 2007 2010 Home and Bus. The most obvious change is Office 2010 the ribbon.

joey: I graduated from ocb back in june, having problems trying to get local stations to give me a chance to get into radio and get better at my broadcasting experience that i was taught in school. there are several internet and some radio stations that you work for free, hate to spend all this money and work for free. do you have any suggestions. thanks. bob
